I was born and currently live in Fort Worth, the quiet sister city of Dallas. I attended the University of North Texas and received my B.A. in English.
I guess you’d like to learn more about me… that, or you’ve fallen into this page and can’t get up, madly scrabbling at any handhold you can find in a desperate bid to go somewhere, anywhere, other than this God-forsaken event horizon of the internet.
Well, I’ll assume the best.
I enjoy reading, writing, poetry, history, gaming (especially strategy games like Civilization or Total War), watching films, and a few select television programs.
I live with my wife, son, two dogs, and a cat.
I hope to find the discipline to write a novel. This blog is mostly an act of practice for that endeavor.

The Title of the Blog
The title of the blog, Feigning a Fine Fettle, is a reference to one of my poems. I’ll probably post it soon.
Don’t be a dick. I wrote this stuff.
Copyright to me. I called it.
If you’d like to use anything I wrote in some way, shape, or form, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may discuss the how, what, where, when, and why of your request. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to know the who as well.
On the flip-side of that, if I’ve somehow inadvertently trampled on your rights, please let me know immediately.
